We live in a digital era where everything is available online. From groceries to friends and games all are just a click away. My kids also love to play online games and while surfing the net I was looking something that makes my kids learn something useful ,that is not easily available elsewhere , plus it does not cost me much. Thus once while searching for entertaining and educational games online which keeps me and my kids busy and promises a safe threshold then I came across Culinary Kids Food games.
Calling the website a life saviour is also an understatement. The games are entertaining, educational, played in a safe environment, and importantly teaches a skill plus all of it for no charges. It seems too good to be true but then it is true and to believe it, play it once. Trust me once you and kids are there playing the game there is no looking back. It has multiple games that means one can never get bored. There is so much to do here.
What do we have?
In simple layman language it teaches the basic life skill that is cooking and associated stuff it inculcates and educates the child about the complete process of farming and cooking. Plus it goes a level ahead as it introduces culinary art, hospitality and restaurant business. Thus a child is positively engaged plus gets to know about the food industry and the various job opportunities that it has to offer. It enhances creativity in kids while letting them understand the efforts put by so many people to get one meal on the table.
HTML 5 Games:
Technology used is top notch and is apt for both mobiles and desktops on HTML 5 web design. Links to each game open in a new tab. So that the layer is focused. The games were initially ad free and require no in house purchases. The website is light and has strong anti-virus protection. However, the games are so interesting and interactive that very soon we became a very community thus to make hosting possible we introduced ads. The website was started in 2007 and in 2024 it started ads. Although the ads are not disturbing and are placed around the free space on the border of some games as the hosting bill for a dedicated server costs highly. Thus the hosting bills are settled through the ads and the games are free still attracting volumes of players from across the globe.
Game categories:
After the technology, what kept me hooked here is the plethora of games. The games help students to learn while having fun in an interactive environment. The major categories are food education games, serving eaters, brain games, puzzle games, tile breaker games and many other fun food themed games and quizzes. Once on the site the games keep you hooked while not getting you addicted.
Which games do my kids play the most?
The first category of games which I think is necessary for my kids to play is food education games. The diseases are rising at an alarming rate and explaining to the kids the need and importance of healthy and mindful eating is very difficult. The kids need someone who can come to their level and explain in a fun way and make the healthy food look nice not a punishment. The category emphasises on the importance of a healthy body, exercises, and limiting intake of food. The category is about healthy food resulting in a healthy body.
Thus we log on to the game “ Can I Eat It?
It is a special game designed for preschoolers and kindergarten students where they quickly click yes or no if the food is healthy or edible and click no if it is not healthy or non edible. The healthy category includes farm to house products or home cooked food whereas unhealthy has sugary drinks and processed food. The game moves a level ahead where it even shows non living things like batteries, socks, coins, and more which are not edible but kids have a tendency to put it in their mouth which proves as a hazard. Tasty kingdom is an extension of this same category meant for young kids. It helps them differentiate between healthy and junk food.
Kitchen games-
To inculcate love and appreciation for cooking, getting kids to play this game is a life changing experience. Now my kids understand that it takes time to cook and involves too much effort. Thus they never complain or waste food. Plus they even involve themselves in cooking.
I can’t state how much I love the games on the site and they are truly cool for a family to play and spend happy family time. In a very educational environment my kids play online games and interact with like minded people.
